01

A Calm and Comfortable Approach

Dental care can feel overwhelming for some dogs, particularly if it involves noise, vibration, or restraint. That is why I use Emmi Pet ultrasonic technology, which is completely silent and does not require any scraping.

Your dog is given time to settle, and I always work at their pace. If they need breaks or reassurance, the session is adapted to keep the experience calm and positive.

02

How Emmi Pet Teeth Cleaning Works

Emmi Pet uses ultrasonic technology to clean your dog’s teeth in a gentle way. The toothbrush emits ultrasonic waves that create tiny bubbles when combined with water and a specialist toothpaste.

Because there is no vibration or noise, many dogs accept the treatment more easily than traditional brushing or scaling.

03

Is This Treatment Suitable for My Dog?

This treatment may be suitable for calm and healthy dogs who are comfortable with gentle handling, including dogs with mild to moderate plaque, early tartar, or bad breath.

If your dog has heavy tartar, loose teeth, inflamed gums, or signs of dental pain, veterinary treatment may be required. I will always advise you honestly and in your dog’s best interest.

04

What to Expect During an Appointment

Appointments are carried out in a calm, quiet environment where your dog can feel safe and relaxed. Each session typically takes between twenty and forty minutes, depending on your dog’s size, temperament, and the condition of their teeth. Some dogs benefit from shorter, gradual sessions to build confidence over time.

Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is not a replacement for veterinary dental procedures when serious dental disease is present.

05

How Often Should Teeth Cleaning Be Done?

For most dogs, regular maintenance every four to eight weeks helps keep teeth clean. Dogs that are more prone to plaque build-up may benefit from more frequent sessions, while others may need them less often. I will guide you on a schedule that suits your dog’s individual needs.
